The past few years have been especially hard on our lavender fields and combined with the age of the plants, the fields are no longer in a condition to welcome guests as we have in years past.
This has brought us to a crossroads as a farm, and we are taking time to thoughtfully consider what the future holds for Sunshine Acres. We are considering replanting a portion of the field in hopes of being open to the public again in years to come.
In the meantime, our handmade lavender products are still available online year round, and your continued support in this way means more than you know.
We will miss seeing your smiling faces among the lavender this summer and Max and the farm animals will miss you as well.

Sunshine Acres Lavender Farm welcomes you to the peace and serenity of country life. Enjoy a slower pace as you take a stroll through our lavender field, sip on lavender lemonade, cut your own fresh lavender bundles, and rest in the shade by the pond.
Close your eyes . . . you can smell the sweetness in the air and hear birds chirping and bees humming. Visit our farm animals, take photos among the blooms, or bring your own picnic lunch. Visit our farm store for lavender culinary delights, body care products, and special gifts.
Come enjoy a relaxing experience in our lavender field and pick your own lavender bunches. Bring the family along and let them say "Hi" to our farm animals. Be sure to check the Facebook event page before coming to be sure there is lavender left during your time slot. Even if we sell out of lavender, we will keep the farm open and you are welcome to arrive at the farm during your ticketed time slot. We can't wait to meet you.

2. Sunscreen, hat, or umbrella if you are sensitive to the sun. (Lavender LOVES full hot sun)
3. Bring extra water to keep hydrated!
Please note we are on a one-lane, dead-end road, so please drive carefully and don't block neighbor's driveways or cars exiting. Once you arrive at the entrance of our driveway, someone will guide you to parking. Drive slowly as you find your parking spot as our beloved kids, cats, and chickens are free ranging and may dart out at any moment! You will have a short walk to the red barn to check in and get lavender cutting instructions. Handicap parking is available closest to the barn.
The terrain is wheelchair capable (no stairways). The distance from parking to the lavender field is about the distance of a football field. The terrain is classic "farm", so bumps, puddles, and rough patches exist.
We do have portable restrooms for your convenience.
