Lavender Blueberry Simple Syrup
1 Cup water
1 Cup sugar
½ C. blueberries (just for color)
1 T Dried Lavender, rinse in a strainer to remove dust
OR
2 T Fresh lavender (leaves, stems, flowers), rinsed
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients
2. Bring to a boil and then lower heat to a simmer.
3. Continue to simmer until liquid volume reduces by almost half.
4. Strain through a sieve to remove solids.
5. Store in a glass container in the fridge.
*You may see flecks of lavender, blueberry skin, and seeds that made it through the straining process. No worries!
